Sydney Tremont, MA, LLPC, Art Therapist
Sydney Tremont is an Art Therapist and Counselor at Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeastern Michigan. She sees clients at the Birmingham location. Sydney specializes in working with children and adolescents experiencing grief and loss. She see’s individuals, couples, and families experiencing ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and life transitions. Sydney believes in treating the whole person by considering their spiritual beliefs, gender, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and physical health. She utilizes a combination of approaches including Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and Mindfulness based techniques. Sydney received her BFA in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute and has an MA from Wayne State University in Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy.
