Lay Caregivers Workshops

Lay Caregivers workshops are intended to provide continuing education for those involved in caregiving.  These workshops benefit Stephen Ministers, deacons, and family and volunteer caregivers.  Please view our calendar for upcoming dates and topics.

Times:  All workshops – 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Location:  Nardin Park United Methodist Church
Fee:  Church subscription or $15.00 per session
Registration:  Due Wednesday prior to each Workshop by calling SCC @248-474-4701.

Mar. 19  “Understanding and Supporting Pregnancy Loss” 

Apr. 23  “Coping with Personal Loss”

Sept. 17 “Exploring What Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is and Holistic Treatment Options”

Oct. 15 “Loving Your Partner: What Makes a Healthy  Couple”

Nov. 19 “Combining Creative Expression and Grief”    

*Note: At least 10 participants must be registered for the workshop to run.
